SHAPING THE FUTURE OF LEGAL EDUCATION

With 20 different specialisms, over 160 individual modules, from commercial law options, such as corporate finance, to criminal justice, human rights and eSports law, Queen Mary School of Law programme is one of the most versatile postgraduates taught masters’ programmes of its kind.

All our programmes starting in 2020, will be offered in a more flexible, blended learning mode, allowing you to start either in September or January for most specialisms and having the option to start online and/or attend the classes in person. No matter where you are or what your situation is, you will receive a top-quality student experience.

We have introduced an accelerated, 9-months LLM for those wishing to start in January (2021) and the option to choose a fully taught LLM or an LLM dissertation pathway, depending on your research interests and career needs.

40 YEARS OF SHAPING THE FUTURE OF COMMERCIAL LAW

The Centre of Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), of Queen Mary School of Law, was established in 1980 by Professor Roy Goode to create an environment where practising commercial lawyers and those from academia could meet and exchange ideas. Since then CCLS has become one of the largest post-graduate law centres in Europe, which is committed to providing students with a world-class education that is enhanced with international partnerships and collaborations.

Apart from the London campus at Lincoln’s Inn Field, CCLS has a thriving campus presence in central Paris where we offer an innovative LLM Paris programme with several specialisms. We have introduced unique programmes in partnerships with internationally recognised universities across the globe, like the Double LLM with Sorbonne Law School, and the Dual LLM (London and Singapore) with the Singapore Management University.

BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR INTERNATIONAL FAMILY

Each student brings a unique perspective and life experience, making Queen Mary School of Law a diverse and exciting place to study and network. Each one of their stories is part of the School’s story and a solid foundation for its future.

“Over the years, we have taught thousands of students – creating a global family of CCLS alumni: senior lawyers, barristers, judges, legislators, policymakers, patent and trademark attorneys and business people.”
