ELSA Webinars

ELSA Webinars is a new project that ELSA has embarked on. A webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the web using video conferencing software. Through a webinar we are aiming at bringing legal education to the homes of ordinary students and young lawyers.

ELSA Webinars is a new project that ELSA has embarked on. A webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the web using video conferencing software. Through a webinar we are aiming at bringing legal education to the homes of ordinary students and young lawyers.

The International Focus Programme seeks to provide a specific theme for the whole ELSA network to focus its efforts on from 2022-2025. The topic of the current IFP is Law and Sustainability. The IFP is a forum that sets out a common goal for all ELSA members to work towards. In the framework of this forum, law students and young lawyers can gather and discuss a current theme, gathering all their diverse opinions and ideas.

ELSA Trainings

ELSA Training is a project through which ELSA contributes to the personal and professional development of law students and young lawyers. It aims at the acquisition and enhancement of the soft skills of the participants.

ELSA Negotiation Competition

The ELSA Negotiation Competition (ENC) is a simulation of a negotiation process between two parties. For this purpose, two teams consisting of two law students and young lawyers each representing a client or a party negotiate a legal dispute. These simulations will be observed and evaluated by a panel of three judges who shall be legal practitioners allowing participants to obtain advanced skills in the field of negotiation.

Synergy Magazine

Synergy Magazine is ELSA’s biannual members’ magazine, which is printed in around 10,000 copies and distributed in more than 350 law faculties and institutions all around Europe.

Synergy Magazine focuses on various Human Rights related issues, most relevant developments on the international level as well as the experiences of ELSA members attending and organising events.

Study Visits

ELSA groups all over the Europe organise Study Visits in cooperation with other ELSA Groups. Study Visits provide ELSA members with a possibility of visiting ELSA, ALSA, DLSA and ILSA groups in other countries and host other groups in their own country. This opportunity includes the essence of ELSA, sharing of experience between people with different cultural and legal background. Study Visits are based on a practical academic programme that provides participants with an exchange of legal knowledge.

Institutional Visits

Institutional Visits are visits to governmental or non-governmental organisations, public administrations, private institutions, universities or other higher education institutions, where the main purpose of the event is the visit itself. Through these events we give our members opportunity to get to know the work of different types of institutions first hand and benefit from the fact that the trip is completely organised by motivated ELSA Officers.

ELSA Law Review

The ELSA Law Review is an annual, student-edited and peer-reviewed law journal published by the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA). The latest, 3rd edition, was published in 2017 with the cooperation with Catolica Global School of Law.
