ROLE Curriculum

ABOUT

The Curriculum is the academic background of the project and the base template for creating educational programs for high schoolers.

The Curriculum is based on non-formal education and a 4-point narrow objective definition of the rule of law widened through the universal application of human rights, participative democracy and equal access to rights.

It was created by ELSA Alumni and is jointly owned with ELSA.

DERIVATIVES

Curriculum Derivatives are different versions of the ROLE curriculum adapted to different usage scenarios, lecture lengths, topics, national environments or other special criteria.

National and Local Groups of ELSA are free to create their own Derivatives based on the original or any other already existing Derivative, under guidance and supervision of ELSA International.

Derivatives are jointly owned by ELSA Alumni, ELSA International and the ELSA Group that created them and cannot be used for commercial purposes.

LOCALISATION DATABASE

ELSA International maintains and regularly updates a database with currently existing Derivatives of the ROLE Curriculum for use during the derivation process and access to schools.

The database also includes useful books, guides, tools and other resources on curriculum building, engaging audiences, non-formal education and more.

The database is only available to ELSA Officers using their official ELSA accounts. For issues with access, please contact us at academicactivities@elsa.org.
