The London Human Rights Moot Court Competition is finally bringing one of the essential ELSA experiences to the United Kingdom: the Moot Court Competitions. In true ELSA spirit, ELSA LSE SU has organised a Moot Court Competition that will create a platform through which ELSA groups at four different UK universities (The London School of Economics, University of Kent, Queen Mary University of London, and King’s College London) can compete together in a simulation of the European Court of Human Rights inspired by the European Human Rights Moot Court Competition. Our hope is that by creating this format for our UK based ELSA members to participate in will offer participants the experience and training required to see them form teams for the EHRMCC in the future.

The competition will be followed by a short reception attended by students from all participating universities, as well as academics, practitioners, and our international ELSA friends. We invite all international ELSA members who will be in London at the time to join us to watch, to partake in the reception afterwards, and make new friends in the network.
