European Law Students’ Association organizes VIII ex-Yu Conference on “Legal challenges in fighting against terrorism.” The conference will be held in Sarajevo from 3rd to 7th of November 2016.
The previous conference was held in Novi Sad (under the patronage of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina), Ljubljana (under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Slovenia), Sarajevo (under the patronage of the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Zeljko Komsic), Budva (under the auspices of the Parliament of Montenegro), Skopje (under the auspices of Government of Macedonia), Rijeka (sponsored by the city of Rijeka) and Belgrade (under the auspices of the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection of the Republic of Serbia). ELSA Sarajevo is currently in the process of obtaining the patronage of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in conference.
The conference will bring together more than 100 law students and law graduates from the former Yugoslavia. The conference in addition to the platform provides the exchange of views and experiences in legal challenges in the fight against terrorism. At the same time it is an event that provides an opportunity for strengthening cooperation among law schools in the region.
